Our Pastor

Our Pastor came to Great Lakes Baptist Temple in June of 2007. 
  His previous church work includes Broadway Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Texas, Tabernacle Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma where he pastored for nearly 11 years, Victory Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas as an associate for 12 years working with Elmer Banks, Heritage Baptist Church in Moberly, Missouri as a teacher in Christian School working with Verlin Stogdill, and First Baptist Church of Parker, Colorado, working with Cecil Maxey as Youth and Music Director.

He is a 1977 graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and has been preaching for over 35 years and in full time ministry for nearly 30 years.

David has served as Chairman, Regional Representative and State Secretary for the Oklahoma Baptist Bible Fellowship, as well as a past Baptist Bible Fellowship Missions representative for the Ukraine and Poland.  He has also served as President of the Oklahoma State Chapter of the Baptist Bible College Alumni Association. He is currently a BBF Missions representative to the Congo.

His desire for the church is to win souls for Christ and to help missionaries to get the message of Christ around the world.
