Children’s Classes
Children are a gift from God. They are given to parents, and it is the responsibility of parents to give their children back to God. It is the responsibility of the local church to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord, bring their children to church, and teach their children to know God. It is because of this that we are pleased to offer the following children’s classes:
Nursery
We offer nursery service for all of our scheduled services
Preschool / Beginners
The Preschool department is currently learning about the life of Jesus and Peter's ministry. The Beginners are studying Moses and learning about God's Son, Jesus.
Primary Department – Grade 1st – 3rd
The Primary department is currently learning about the building blocks of faith.
Junior Department – Grades 4th – 6th
This summer our Junior Department will be teaching a special series on the "Fruit of the Spirit". Each week, during the summer months, our students will be taught a new Fruit of the Spirit. They will be guided in how to make these lessons grow real in their day to day lives.
Our first and highest job is to show our classes God’s infallible plan for eternal Salvation for each and every one of us! Our second job is to help our students grow into the Christians the Lord would have them to be.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

Teen Department
The purpose of Great Lakes Baptist Temple’s Teen ministry is to help equip families with the necessary tools from God's Word to lay the right foundation for the rest of life.
Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."
